In the GlobalProtect path, advisories related to GlobalProtect are identified and used to create Jira issues. The Jira issues include a summary with the advisory title and a description that provides details about the advisory, its severity, link, and publication date. In the Traps path, advisories related to Traps are recognized, and dummy data (which should be replaced with logic to retrieve valid user emails) is generated for sample purposes. These email addresses are then used to send email notifications using the Gmail node. Each email's subject includes the type of advisory, while the body contains the advisory title and a link for more information. Purpose of this Template: This template will help us combine multiple RSS sources, curate the content, and send the result to a Telegram channel for easy access. How it Works: We start with two RSS sources from which we primarily want to extract the title, link, and publication date. The workflow will periodically query both sources and use regular expressions and some JavaScript to edit several fields until we have the desired data in the proper format. Once the sources are formatted, we will combine them using the "Merge" node. Since the workflow will run twice a day, we will discard items older than two days. This will be achieved using a "Filter" node. A "Sort" node will arrange the items by publication date so that the most recent ones appear first. To create a flat list in "Markdown" format from the resulting items, we will use a small JavaScript function. This function must escape special characters to ensure they are correctly interpreted. Finally, the list will be sent to the appropriate channel using a "Telegram" node. Configuration Instructions: When opening the workflow for the first time, configure the Telegram credential. In the "RSS" nodes, insert the URLs of the sources to query. In the "Edit Fields" nodes we will have to adjust the regular expressions to obtain the desired result based on our RSS sources. In this case the expressions have been adjusted to obtain the name, size and link of each published file. In the "Sort" node we can modify the maximum age of the elements that we are going to send. In this case, 2 days have been included (2 * 24 * 60 * 60 * 1000 milliseconds) since it is necessary to take into account that Telegram has a maximum message length and if we exceed it, it will return an error instead of sending it. Lastly, include the channel ID in the "Telegram" node where the messages will be sent. Template was created in n8n v1.72.1

Who is this template for? You are in the bad habit of always checking your feed to see if there are new videos? This workflow will help you get rid of this habit by delivering an email notification for each new video posted from the channels you are subscribed to. No need to check your feed again: no email = no new video. Example email How it works Every hour (by default), we: Fetch all your YouTube subscriptions from the YouTube Data v3 API. Get a list of the latest videos of each channel through RSS (we don't use YouTube's API for this step as it would put us over the daily quota). Send you a simple yet beautiful email for each new video that was published since the last run of the workflow. To go to the video, simply click on the thumbnail. Caveats Because of the way this workflow is implemented, if your n8n instance stops, you will not get emails for the videos you missed when your instance is back online. The situation could be improved if n8n gave us an easy way to access the last successful execution's timestamp. Set up instructions Complete the Set up credentials step when you first open the workflow. You'll need YouTube OAuth2 API and SMTP credentials. In the Send an email for each new video step, set the email address from which the email will be sent (an email address that your SMTP credentials allow sending from) and the email address to which you are going to send the email to (can be the same). Optional steps From the Schedule Trigger step, you can change the check frequency (default: every hour). If there are channels that you do not want notifications from, you can add their channel ID to the list in the Filter out channels step. To get a channel's ID, go to its main page, click on the description, then "Share channel" and finally "Copy channel ID". By default, shorts are excluded.
